Welcome to our 16th season of Writers Bloc. For those of you who have been with us from the beginning, and to those of you who are joining us for the first time, you will see that our mission is simple and straightforward: to bring to Los Angeles our favorite writers and thinkers, to hear and see how they think. The writers who have spent an evening with Writers Bloc have at least one thing in common: they have made a significant impact on our cultural, literary or political landscape. We set the bar high — our standards are rigorous and demanding.
We look forward to putting on a good spread on our updated site. We will feature book reviews, author contributions, the occasional cultural revelation, and most important, notes from you. We hope that you’ll join in.
