Nancy Olson Livingston is the only surviving cast member of the classic and iconic film, Sunset Boulevard, for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 1950. Then she got married. And she married Alan Jay Lerner, creator of such award-winning musicals as Paint Your Wagon and My Fair Lady, which was dedicated to her. She later married Alan Livingston, the former president of Capitol Records, who worked with such talent as Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, and Judy Garland. In her memoir, Front Row Seat, Ms. Livingston, now 94, recounts her experiences and relationships with some of the most illustrious people in contemporary American culture.

In conversation with Patt Morrison, who is a columnist for the Los Angeles Times, and hosts a podcast called Patt Morrison Asks. She is an author and knows more about Los Angeles history than just about anyone.
