Every day, Stacey Abrams speaks truth to power. She writes about justice–whether in nonfiction books or in bestselling novels. And when she’s not writing about justice or abuse of power, she’s doing something about it. Consider her work in Georgia to fight against voter suppression and encourage voter turnout.
Her new initiative, the 10 Steps Campaign, is an essential toolkit, an educational effort to mobilize, teach, and engage the American public in understanding autocracy, understanding what we can do, and learning how to recognize, resist, and reverse authoritarianism. Once we understand the signs of authoritarianism, the campaign aims to build back a strong democracy, build freedom, and build power.
