Attorney General of New York Letitia James with Brian Tyler Cohen
Thursday, December 4, 2025
7:30pm
The Ebell of Los Angeles Lounge
741 South Lucerne Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90005
General Admission Ticket: $35
Letitia James is the Attorney General of the State of New York. She is the first woman elected to that office, and the first woman of color to hold statewide office in New York. Ms. James has relentlessly protected New Yorkers and their rights, fought for commonsense gun safety, and prosecuted abuse in the opioid crisis. She has taken on some of the most powerful people in the world, including successfully suing Donald Trump, his two sons, and his company for civil business fraud. In a move widely seen as one of political retribution, the U.S. Department of Justice, at the behest of President Trump, has indicted Ms. James for mortgage fraud. In spite of that attack and other attempts by the federal government to intimidate her, Attorney General Letitia James continues to pursue justice for residents of the state of New York.
Brian Tyler Cohen is one of the leading voices in new media. Brian hosts podcasts and youtube programs, including his enormously popular video podcast, No Lie. His videos receive millions of views, as he makes the issues accessible and engaging. In his spare time, he’s written a bestselling book called Shameless: Republicans’ Deliberate Dysfunction and the Battle to Preserve Democracy. Shameless focuses on the bewildering complacency of the GOP and right wing media towards the MAGA movement and Trump. The great news is, it’s now in paperback.
