NBC News assigned Katy Tur a few Donald Trump campaign rallies to cover in the early days of the 2016 presidential campaign. No one thought that she’d be long on that particular beat, because no one thought Trump’s campaign would last. The rest is history. Katy is an ambitious national network news reporter, and an attractive young woman. Donald Trump thought he could intimidate and frighten her. He didn’t know Katy.  Neither did his supporters, who unleashed their rage and threats at Trump rallies across the nation. Katy Tur’s new book, Unbelievable, addresses her experience as a journalist in a campaign that turned out to be bruising not just for some candidates, but for reporters as well.
